A collection of 6 issues of the first run of the British edition of Galaxy Science Fiction magazine, published in 1952/1953.

Galaxy Science Fiction was an American digest-size science fiction magazine, published in Boston from 1950 to 1980. It was founded by a French-Italian company, World Editions, which was looking to break into the American market. World Editions hired as editor H. L. Gold, who rapidly made Galaxy the leading science fiction magazine of its time, focusing on stories about social issues rather than technology.

Several British editions of Galaxy were produced. From 1953 to 1962 Strato Publications published 94 numbered issues. The early issues were labelled vol. 3 no. 1 to no. 12. With the 13th issue the "vol. 3" was dropped.

Featuring writing by; Willy Ley, Theodore Sturgeon, Hal Clement, Jerome Bixby, Isaac Asimov, C. M. Kornbluth James E. Gunn, Robert Sheckley, Damon Knight, Algis Budrys, Clifford D. Simak, F. L. Wallace, Philip K. Dick, J. T. McIntosh, James H. Schmitz and many more.
