This is the unique original Gouache painting by Gerry Wood.

An Arab warrior waves farewell to a young girl, possibly his daughter as he rides off to battle. Vigorous work from Gerry Wood well known for his stint on Look and Learn's Trigan Empire feature amongst much other historical illustration.

Exact issue of Look and Learn yet to be determined but probably late 1970s.
